Norwich Skip Hire

You need a permit when placing a skip on Norwich's public roads. We sort the paperwork with Norwich City Council, which takes 1-2 days depending on their workload. Some items can't go in our skips due to disposal regulations. These include asbestos, batteries, fridges, paint tins, tyres, gas bottles and chemicals. The Mile Cross Lane facility doesn't accept certain materials, especially hazardous waste. Garden waste, furniture, and building rubble are fine. If unsure about items like old electronics or plasterboard, ring us beforehand. Norwich has specific rules about commercial waste separation that might affect building projects.

For house clearances or garden waste in Norwich, 2-4 yard skips work well. Kitchen renovations typically need 6 yard skips. An 8 yard skip suits a bathroom refit.
